The Ibanez GRX720 is up for replacement so when this Soloist catches our eye, the choice is easily made. This mahogany seven string feels relatively light but maybe that's because it looks light because of the silver burst, which is very subtle. Also very subtle are the inlays, which are more accents on the fretboard than the markers they usually are. The EMGs, however, make this otherwise low-key instrument a screaming beast.
