Sometimes the guitars we buy are in a theme of some sort, and this theme is "1986", because the Westone that arrived the day before was also from 1986. The pictues on Marktplaats were a bit fuzzy and we couldn't make out the model exactly, so we were especially happy to see it turned out to be a Model 5. Funnily enough, the Black Cherry finish has turned a dark brown, but after taking off the pickup ring, the original dark red is clearly visible. It does have some dings and dongs, but it's still very nice for its age. The original pickups have been replaced by a Bill Lawrence L500 at the bridge and another rail humbucker at the neck position.
