The Ravelle is one of the first guitars we really looked for. The shape of this guitar really appeals to us. It is reminiscent of the Ibanez Iceman but is a bit rounder, a bit more elegant. Actually, we were looking for an Elite with the sustainer element, but they turn out to be relatively new. They are of course less second-hand but they are rarely offered. We also wanted the red tiger stripe and it is no longer made anyway. Ultimately we ended up with this Deluxe from England.
There are a few dings on it (unfortunately on the headstock) but it is not too bad. For us, this is one of the few guitars with a pickguard and that's why we left it. The flamed maple top is somewhat browner than expected, but still has a nice deep color.
