I'd been looking for a nice Thunder for a while when I ran into this one. I've known this type of guitar from when I first learned to play, because a friend had a Thunder IA back then. I never really played it because it was a lefty, but I've always kept an interest in the model. So when this Thunder II was advertised as part of two-guitar lot we decided to go for it. The Thunder II is a little different from the IA: it has neckthru construction and different pickups. But as it is an MIJ guitar, it's well built and plays great.
