If you walk into pawnshops often enough, you will eventually come across a nice deal (and sometimes you are just too late ... unfortunately we missed a super deal on a Shine). At these Cash Converters in Utrecht we have already bought the Fenix before and that was just a funny guitar, but we didn't expect a real made in USA here. Compared to the other guitars there it was expensive but compared to what you get for it, it was not too bad. The shape of the body is more special than the wood type, but the carbon fiber fretboard and the stainless steel frets are something different. Despite the fact that the guitar is already at least six years and maybe sixteen years old (the meaning of the serial number is not (yet) clear), the fretboard still seems new. It might be a bit dusty but it doesn't have any scratches or dents whatsoever. You can see from the body that the Nitefly is no longer new, but it is well cared for anyway. Unfortunately, the stereo cable is no longer included and the pawnshop does not have one, so we have to bet that the piezo element still works. Fortunately, that turns out to be the case. The only downside to this guitar is that it can't hang from the exhibition wall ...
